Some private railways' signals can be found in the appropriate section of ÖBB signals.

Signals for request stops

By means of request-stop-signals passangers can show that they want to enter the train. As far as I know, the following railway companies use such signals:

• Montafoner Bahn (MBS)
• Salzburger Verkehrsbetrieben (SVB)
• Stern & Hafferl (StH)
• Steiermärkische Landesbahnen (StLB)

MBS, SVB and StH are using the old version of the Swiss request stop signal (with MBS and SVB using red flashing light). StLB are using a simple orange flashing light.

StH	MBS, SVB	StLB
			Normal position. Nobody wants to enter the train at the belonging passenger stop or station. The train will only stop if someone whants to get out.
			Request stop. Somebody wants to enter the train at the belonging passenger stop or station.
