Signals on vehicles

Position on vehicle	detail
		Head light (Spitzensignal) § 30 (1) The peak of a train is marked by three lights arranged in the form of the uppercase letter »A«.
		Tail light (Schlußsignal) § 30 (5) Vehicles with built in tail lights show one or two red lights.

		Carriage is occupied (Wagen besetzt) § 31 (1) At night the carriage has to be illuminated from the inside.
		Not to be moved (Fahrzeug darf nicht bewegt werden) § 31 (4)
		Preheating board (An die Vorheizanlage angeschlossen) § 31 (7) The carriages are connected to a stationary power supply or an unmanned locomotive (for preheating or air-conditioning). In this case it is not allowed to connect or disconnect plugs of the carriage's electric heating line (Zugsammelschiene).
