What's this web site about?

Thema dieser Website ist das Signalwesen in Österreich und in der Schweiz.

This web site gives an overview over signalling in Austria and Switzerland. It is an unofficial site - I am not involved in railway companies or signal firms. So keep in mind that all you find here is second hand information. Nevertherless I try to avoid errors as good as possible.

Althogh this web site initially started only in English, today some (additional) chapters are only available in German. They are marked:

(German only)

But at least all the information about present-day signalling is fully availaible in English.

Credits

I want to thank anyone who contributed to this page. A special thank to railway and signal firm employees who helped with difficult and detailled questions.
