Dear Michael, liebe Leute,
when this photo was evidently taken, there was either no route 2 in
Kassel or the tram shown did not operate there any more :-) So this
should be Gorzów Wielkopolski. Evidently, the tram on the picture
is one of the ex-Kassel Wegmann trams -- one of the most beautiful
tram type I know of, which even excels the per-se great Düwag design!
als dieses Foto offenbar geschossen wurde, gab es entweder keine
Linie 2 in Kassel oder die abgebildete Straßenbahn fuhr nicht mehr
in Kassel :-) Sollte also Landsberg/Warthe, äh, Gorzów Wielkopolski
sein. Offensichtlich ist der abgebildete Wagen ein ex-Kasseler
Wegmann-Wagen -- eine der schönsten Straßenbahntypen überhaupt, bei
der das ohnehin schon geniale Düwag-Design noch übertroffen wurde!
